Really Gluten Free? Corn Oats (Video)
Many people don't succeed at being gluten free because they trust the labels on packaged "gluten free" products. Corn, oats and rice also contain gluten and can stimulate the immune reaction in a similar fashion to that in wheat, rye and barley, Some studies show the rate that gluten sensitive people also react to gluten in corn and oats is about 50%. Rice seems to be better but some lab studies also use rice gluten to test for general gluten sensitivity. This issue isn't as black and white as some articles in the popular press would indicate.
